Every year in February, when the conditions are just right, a small waterfall plunges from the rim of El Capitan, lighting up with an awe-inspiring glow. Sometimes subtle, sometimes glowing a fiery orange like the embers of a campfire, the spray from the fall meanders with the wind. The phenomenon was a well-kept secret for many years, but now draws tourists and photographers from around the world to bear witness, hoping to capture a perfect moment.
