Amber Rush on Lewis Creek

The pools that form along the granite waterways in the Sierras are like jewels, for sure.  The amber-colored algae that often grows on the underwater rocks adds it's own gem-like quality to the varied colors and sparkle of sunlight that dances across the surface.  "Amber Pools" represents such a place, where the water cascades over the depths of an underwater rainbow.
